Today we had a go making a Porotiti

Here is Tylah-Reiko's awsome description of her best moment in life

                      Whakatane's most loved beach

It was a scorching hot day in Whakatane. I was hot and sweaty.
That was the moment that my auntie literally dragged me to the beach. The sign read Ohope - NZ's most loved beach.
To my surprise my whole family was there waiting in a hot sweaty heap. I rapidly ran down the stairs to greet my family but as soon as my feet hit the sand... BAM!  I felt as if  I was walking on lava.
I ran as fast as flash to my Dad who picked me up and gave me the worlds biggest bear hug.
We couldn't wait any longer to get in the water so we ran like a wild pack of animals to the freezing cold water.
We didn't care that the water felt like an ice bath because it made us feel cool, the coolest I've ever felt.
We stayed at that beautiful beach until the sun went down. We went home wet but happy.

How tall are we?

Today we were learning about the different ways we could measure ourselves. Our goal was to find out the most accurate way.
